— The Lunar Letter · No. 01 —

The first new moon.

Sent on the new moon, May 2026

The Lunar Letter is something we have wanted to do since the beginning. One quiet message, sent only on the new moon. Twelve a year. Never sold. Never broadcast. It is the closest thing to a personal letter that a brand can responsibly write.

This is the first. We are still learning what it should be. What we know is that it is not a newsletter in the modern sense — not a marketing rhythm, not a content calendar, not an email funnel. It is a letter from the circle that runs White Magic to the people who have chosen to be quietly held by it. Some months it will be a short reflection. Some months it will be longer. Some months it will be from one of our masters, anonymised. Some months it will be from the founder. None of it will be sold.

On beginnings.

A new moon is the dark phase. It is the moment in the lunar cycle when the moon is invisible to us, because she is between the earth and the sun. In Indian astrology this is amavasya. It is, paradoxically, the moment most associated with beginnings.

This makes a certain kind of intuitive sense to anyone who has ever started something real. Real beginnings happen in the dark, in private, in conditions where nothing can be seen yet. The new business that has not been announced. The decision to leave the marriage that nobody knows you have made. The pregnancy that is two weeks old. The book that you have not told anyone you are writing. The grief you are still pretending you are not in.

The new moon is the patron saint of the things you have not yet said out loud.

We mention this because so many of the seekers who come to White Magic come at exactly this point. Not the dramatic moment, not the rupture, but the moment after the decision has been made privately and before anyone in the world knows. The amavasya moment. The dark before the announcement.

What we have noticed.

One thing we have learned in the year of work it took to build this platform: people do not come to spiritual guidance because they don't know what to do. They come because they have already decided, and they want to know if their decision is honest.

This is not what astrologers are taught to expect. The textbook seeker walks in confused, asking for a forecast. The real seeker walks in clear, asking for confirmation that the clarity is not denial.

The best masters we work with understand this. They do not predict outcomes. They reflect back what the seeker is already carrying. They ask the question that, when answered honestly, settles the matter. The work they do is not divination. It is witnessing.

If you are receiving this letter, there is a fair chance you have done this kind of inner work recently — or are about to. If so, hold the dark a little longer than you want to. The new moon is the practice of letting the not-yet-spoken stay not-yet-spoken until it is ready. Do not rush the announcement.

What is coming.

The Lunar Letter will arrive on every new moon. The next one is in June. Between now and then, our masters are quietly holding sessions. We are turning away more applicants than we accept. We are writing more long-form essays for the Library — the next two are on Akashic records and on muhurat for weddings. We are translating the home page into Hindi. We are not in a rush.

If anything in this letter has reached you, we are honoured. If you would like to bring a question to one of our masters, you are reachable on WhatsApp Business at +91 98381 10000, on Instagram at @white_magic_wellness, or by writing to hello at whitemagicwellness dot com.

Until the next moon.
